Allison McEldowney is a freelance artist & illustrator specializing in gouache watercolor painting.

She graduated from The University of Kansas in 2013 with a BFA in Illustration and has 12+ years experience working as a product designer and freelance artist. She has created greetings cards, stickers, paper crafting products, & various stationary products that have been sold in retail stores such as Target, Paper Source, Jo-Ann, Michaels, & Walmart.

While her primary love is painting she is also highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop and can illustrate in many different styles from organic & whimsical to tight & realistic.

She lives and works in her home studio in Kansas City, MO and finds inspiration from her surroundings - an old home full of character, an overgrown backyard, two adorable and wild little boys, a goofy mutt, and her book-loving, joke-cracking husband.
